We are proud to be a third-generation, family-run business. Having worked in the auto body industry for many years, Jack Janes decided to go into business himself in 1961. So, at the age of 33, he opened Janes Auto Body Clinic at 1153 Topsail Rd.
As a teenager, Jack’s son Bryan began working with his father at the shop after school. He learned a lot from working with his dad and the skilled technicians in the shop, eventually receiving his own certification in 1978. After skillfully managing his business for 21 years, Jack proudly passed the reigns over to Bryan in 1982.
Since then, Janes Auto Body has grown in size and scope of service, allowing us to become the modern, technologically advanced clinic it is today.
Although Bryan is still actively involved in the daily running of the business, his son Mark took over managing the business in 2015. Mark is proud to manage the company that his grandfather Jack started 60 years ago.
Mark shares his office with his trusty companion, Louie, a dog who’s become a bit of a mascot at the store. Louie greets staff and clients as they come through the doors of the clinic and many find that his smiling face helps to ease some of the stress of their auto accident experience. So if you see this little guy around the office, be sure to say “Hi!”
